— German Verbio to invest USD 230m in RNG production in US

German biofuels supplier Verbio Vereinigte BioEnergie AG has agreed to acquire US-based company South Bend Ethanol LLC and invest USD 230 million in the expansion of its ethanol plant in Indiana to produce renewable natural gas (RNG) at the site.
