German solar and wind farm operator Encavis AG (ETR:ECV) said it has acquired a 48-MWp portfolio of three solar parks in the Netherlands from compatriot BayWa r.e. AG.

— France’s Albioma enters Brazilian solar market with 32-MWp acquisition

— Australia’s New Energy Solar to wind up after USD-245m sale of US portfolio

New Energy Solar Ltd (ASX:NEW) has agreed to offload its US solar portfolio to an associate of financial services group Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) in a USD-244.5-million deal that will result in the winding up of the Aussie firm.

— Palisade Real Assets buys UK bioenergy plant

Australia’s Palisade Real Assets has bought Malaby Biogas Ltd, an organic waste anaerobic digestion plant in the UK, marking the first investment for its UK bioenergy platform BioticNRG Ltd.

— MN8 buys option to acquire US Solar Fund’s stake in 200-MW US solar farm

US Solar Fund Plc (LON:USF) has sold an option for MN8 Energy LLC, formerly known as Goldman Sachs Renewable Power LLC, to buy the London-listed fund’s 50% stake in the 200-MW DC Mount Signal 2 solar farm in California.

Swiss investment firm Smartenergy Group AG announced it has sealed a deal to buy a majority stake in Portuguese rooftop solar developer Rewatt, specialising in self-consumption installations for the local commercial and industrial (C&I) sector.
