Q4 is traditionally a quiet quarter for hiring, with candidates waiting for bonus payments the following quarter. From our conversations with clients, there might not be the same number of hires in 2023 as there was in 2022, this is down to the lack of hiring throughout 2020 and the beginning of 2021, and most firms used 2022 as the opportunity to make additional hires which would have been made in previous years.
