The 600-MW Mammoth Central is the third and final phase of the 1.3-GW Mammoth Solar project that Israeli firm Doral Renewables LLC is developing in Indiana.
Constellation entered into a separate 15-year agreement with Doral to receive power from a 300-MW section of Mammoth Central. The energy company is supporting the project by connecting the solar farm with its retail customers.
In recent months, Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) and PNC Bank signed up as customers for Mammoth Central’s solar power.
