Polish photovoltaic (PV) components distributor Soltec said today that it has signed a contract to sell PV modules of TW Solar, part of China’s Tongwei Group (SHA:600438).

The contract foresees the delivery of 150 MW of TW Solar’s PV modules to Soltec’s warehouses in 2023. The offer will include modules of half-cell technology with power ranges of 400 W to 415 W and 550 W to 555 W, Warsaw-based Soltec said in a media publication.

The cooperation with the Tongwei Group will enable Soltec to diversify its sources of supply and expand its offer to customers in Poland and Europe, the company added.

Tongwei Group, based in Chengdu, the Sichuan Province, is a diversified international group, operating in animal feed, chemistry and green energy. It is a vertically-integrated PV player active in the production of crystalline silicon and solar cells and the construction and operation of PV power plants.
